H&R Block Guarantee
The H&R Block Guarantee is included with every tax return we prepare. If H&R Block makes an error on your return, we'll pay resulting penalties and interest. If you are audited, we'll explain your audit notice and the documentation you should provide to the auditor.

Maximum Refund Guarantee
Get the maximum refund you're entitled to or your return is free.

If, due to H&R Block's error on your return, you are entitled to a larger refund (or smaller tax liability) than what we calculated, we will refund your tax preparation fee for that return. Refund claims must be made during the calendar year in which the return was prepared.

Peace of Mind^® Extended Service Plan
For just $30, you can purchase the Peace of Mind Extended Service Plan and gain extra confidence. If you owe additional taxes due to our error in the preparation of your return, we'll pay those additional taxes up to a maximum of $5,000.

You may also choose to self-file your Best of Both return without the benefit of a professional review. If you choose to self-file your return by electing to skip the tax professional review, the above guarantees are replaced with the H&R Block At Home Guarantees and your return becomes ineligible for the Peace of Mind^® Extended Service plan.
