Sabrina Wiewel is H&R B lock’s Area President in the West, responsible for driving the strategic direction, field management and operational support for company and franchise offices in 19 states. Prior to her appointment to this role in May 2010, Wiewel was the Chief Tax Network Officer, working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Board of Directors and other company leaders to integrate the retail and digital businesses, grow and serve the company’s client base, and improve shareholder and associate value.
As president of Digital Tax Services from August 2008 to June 2009, Wiewel is credited with increasing market share and leading the company’s integration efforts to more effectively align retail and digital offerings to better serve clients.
Prior to leading the company’s digital business, Wiewel was Senior Vice President of Tax Operations for H&R Block’s U.S. Retail Tax Solutions division. She assumed this role in May 2007 and worked with the retail tax leadership to ensure all tax-related initiatives and programs were field-focused and received critical field input prior to rollout. She also played an instrumental role in helping the company identify and drive growth in the expertise marketplace.
Known for her high energy and strategic thinking, Wiewel began her career with H&R Block in 1999 as Director of Product Development for TaxCut, now H&R Block At Home. She quickly rose through the ranks to Assistant Vice President and General Manager of TaxCut. Then in 2003, she was named Vice President and Managing Director for portions of the company’s Midwest and Southern divisions.
Prior to joining H&R Block, Wiewel owned her own consulting firm where she worked with a variety of distinguished international clients. She also held several positions with international companies Eli Lilly and Co. and Hallmark Cards Inc.
Wiewel has a bachelor’s of science degree in Communications/Marketing from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Mo.
